Orbit Payment Solutions was founded by Mark A. Hurd & Jonathun Catapano with 30+ years of combined experience in the Payment Processing Industry. Orbit was inspired by Dr. Shaye S. Hurd, a 1997 Graduate of The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry with 24 years of owning & operating a successful Optometry Practice.

Orbit Payment Solutions serves to educate and assist Eyecare Professionals by helping them control their overhead costs, maintain consistent & fair pricing, and offering secure technology that meet the needs of today’s everchanging Payments landscape. By providing these services we help Optometrists & other EyeCare Professionals alike take back control of their expenses, grow their profitability all the while Focusing on the Patient Experience and receiving unparalleled customer service.

Proven Concept

Our process is inspired by our sister company APEX Payment Solutions founded by Jonathun Catapano & Dr. Zachary Allmand, DDS which created a similar solution to primarily focus on and address the pains of payment processing for the Dental Community. The process was so well received that we replicated the process for EyeCare Professionals.
